Car Market: First Half 2015 Go Well

The positive performance of the business has its origin in the good results in the European market, where new models are achieving great successes, and improving profitability.
VOLKSWAGEN GROUP - In the first six months of 2015, the Volkswagen Group has a turnover of 108.776 billion euro (of which 94.093 billion from the automotive sector) with a growth of 10.1% over the same period of 2014. This even though the vehicles sold showed a slight drop (-0.5%). Operations management is, however, improved a lot, so that operating profit rose 13%, to 6.99 billion euro. The profit after tax was 5.663 billion euro.
